Nifty stayed flat in the first half of FY27, but nine large-cap stocks delivered impressive gains above 50%, offering strong investor returns despite muted benchmarks. Bharat Heavy Electricals led the rally with a 72% surge, reflecting robust demand and improved earnings outlook. Lodha Developers followed with 63% growth, supported by resilient real estate momentum. Adani Enterprises advanced 61%, driven by infrastructure expansion and diversified operations. Solar Industries climbed 60%, benefiting from defence and mining sector orders. Adani Green also rose 60%, aided by renewable energy capacity additions. Bosch gained 59%, reflecting strong automotive demand and technology adoption. Divi’s Laboratories registered 56% growth, supported by pharmaceutical exports and stable margins. Meesho, the e-commerce player, advanced 56%, highlighting digital retail strength. Samvardhana Motherson completed the list with 50% gains, driven by auto component demand and global expansion.

Together, these nine stocks showcased resilience and sectoral diversity, outperforming the broader market. Their ascent highlights investor confidence in infrastructure, energy, real estate, pharmaceuticals, and technology. While Sensex and Nifty remained subdued, these companies demonstrated that selective large-cap investments can deliver substantial wealth creation even in a challenging environment.
