Bharti Airtel delivered a steady performance in the second quarter, supported by growth across key financial parameters. The telecom major reported a net profit of ₹8,887.5 crore, up 8.8% quarter-on-quarter from ₹8,167.4 crore in the previous quarter. The rise in profit reflects continued strength in the company’s business operations and customer demand.

Revenue for the quarter increased 4.0% to ₹60,877.5 crore compared with ₹58,539 crore in the previous quarter. The growth highlights Airtel’s ability to expand its business while maintaining a strong market position in the highly competitive telecom sector.

Operating performance also remained healthy during the quarter. EBITDA rose 4.9% to ₹34,946 crore from ₹33,303 crore on a sequential basis. The increase in EBITDA indicates improved operational efficiency and strong earnings generation from the company’s core business activities.

Airtel’s EBITDA margin improved to 57.4% from 57.0% in the previous quarter. The higher margin reflects better cost management and stronger profitability despite ongoing investments in network expansion and digital services.

Overall, Bharti Airtel reported a solid set of Q2 numbers, with growth in revenue, profit and operating earnings, while maintaining healthy margins. The results underline the company’s focus on sustainable growth, operational efficiency and long-term value creation for shareholders.
