An Indian-origin cow named Viatina-19 set a Guinness World Record by selling for Rs 40 crore at an auction in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This Nelore cow weighs 1,101 kg, twice the average weight for its breed. At 53 months old, Viatina-19 has a sleek, white fur coat, loose skin, and a notable hump.

Viatina-19’s exceptional genetics make her highly sought after in the breeding industry. She won Miss South America at the “Champion of the World” competition in Fort Worth, Texas, a Miss Universe-style event for cattle. Her rare genetics and superior physique have contributed to her high value, with global demand for her embryos in breeding programs.

The Nelore breed, originally from India, is prized in Brazil for its adaptation to tropical climates and disease resistance. It has become a cornerstone of Brazil’s cattle industry, with Viatina-19 standing out as a remarkable specimen.
