Ola Electric has launched its Gen 3 electric scooter range. The new models include the S1 Pro, S1 Pro+, S1 X, and S1 X+. Prices start at ₹79,999 for the S1 X with a 2kWh battery. The top-tier S1 Pro+ with a 5.3kWh battery costs ₹1,69,999. These scooters have a mid-drive motor and an integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU), which offer better efficiency.
Ola’s Gen 3 scooters feature ‘Brake by Wire’ technology. This increases range by 15% and doubles brake pad lifespan. They also include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for safety. The flagship S1 Pro+ model has a range of 320 km and a top speed of 141 km/h.
Ola Electric has expanded its retail and service network in India. It grew from 800 stores in November 2024 to 4,000 by December 2024. Orders for the Gen 3 scooters open today, with deliveries starting in mid-February. Ola also announced the upcoming launch of its new Roadster X motorbike on February 5, 2025.
