Primary Market Stays Strong Despite Equity Market Slump: 5 IPOs and 7 Listings Ahead

The primary market has remained resilient, even as the Nifty 50 corrected by 12% from its September 2024 peak. The steady flow of IPOs continues to attract investors. In the upcoming week, starting January 20, the market will witness five new public issues, including one from the mainboard segment, and seven listings across various bourses.

Denta Water IPO: Mainboard Highlight

Denta Water’s IPO will be the sole offering from the mainboard segment. The subscription opens on January 22 with a price band of ₹279–₹294 per share. The company aims to raise ₹220.5 crore through a fresh issue of 75 lakh shares. Specializing in water and infrastructure solutions, Denta Water will close its offer on January 24.

SME IPOs to Watch

Four public issues from the SME segment will also launch next week:

  1. Capital Numbers Infotech IPO
    This software development solutions provider is set to raise ₹169.37 crore through a mix of fresh issuance and an offer-for-sale of 32.2 lakh shares worth ₹84.69 crore each. The IPO, priced at ₹250–₹263 per share, opens on January 20 and closes on January 22.
  2. Furniture Manufacturer IPO
    A furniture manufacturing company will launch its ₹54-crore IPO on January 22 at a fixed price of ₹145 per share. The subscription closes on January 24.
  3. Custom Lithium-Ion Batteries & Motors Maker IPO
    This ₹72-crore IPO is scheduled to open on January 23 with a price band of ₹230–₹250 per share. The offer, targeting innovation in batteries and motors, will remain open until January 27.
  4. GB Logistics Commerce IPO
    The logistics services provider will launch its IPO on January 24, closing on January 28. The company has yet to announce its price band.

IPOs Closing Next Week

Two IPOs will conclude their subscription next week:

  • Stallion India Fluorochemicals: This ₹199-crore mainboard IPO closes on January 20.
  • SME Segment: Landmark Immigration Consultants and EMA Partners India will wrap up their offerings on January 20 and 21, respectively.

Upcoming Listings

Seven companies are set to debut on the stock exchanges next week:

  1. Mainboard Listings
    • Laxmi Dental: Shares of the dental products company will list on January 20.
    • Stallion India Fluorochemicals: Trading for this IPO begins on January 23.

Both stocks have shown strong demand in the grey market, with premiums of 25–30% and 45%, respectively, over their upper price bands.

  1. SME Listings
    • Barflex Polyfilms: Trading on NSE Emerge starts January 20.
    • Kabra Jewels and Rikhav Securities: Listings on January 22 on NSE Emerge and BSE SME, respectively.
    • Landmark Immigration Consultants and EMA Partners India: Shares debut on BSE SME and NSE Emerge on January 23 and 24, respectively.
