Adani Energy Solutions has started its Qualified Institutional Placement to raise up to ₹10,000 crore from institutional investors. The company fixed the floor price at ₹1,698.15 per share, slightly below the NSE closing price of ₹1,708 on July 27, 2026. As per SEBI rules, it may offer a discount of up to five percent while finalising the issue price.
The QIP committee approved the opening of the issue and adopted the preliminary placement document filed with both exchanges. Jefferies, SBI Capital Markets, ICICI Securities and IIFL Securities are acting as book running lead managers.
The fundraising plan was cleared by the board on July 1 and shareholders on July 25. The proceeds will be used for capital expenditure, repayment of loans, acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
Shares of Adani Energy closed at ₹1,703.30 on July 27, showing marginal gains. Despite a small weekly decline, the stock has risen more than sixty three percent in 2026. It has delivered one hundred nine percent returns in one year, one hundred twelve percent in three years and ninety percent in five years.
The QIP reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its balance sheet and support future growth initiatives.
