Dabur India reported a strong performance for the second quarter, supported by steady growth in revenue and profit. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹505 crore, up from ₹452 crore in the same period last year. The profit was also slightly higher than market estimates of ₹500 crore.
The company’s revenue from operations rose to ₹3,563 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹3,191 crore a year ago. This reflects healthy demand across its product portfolio and continued business expansion.
Dabur’s EBITDA, a key measure of operating performance, increased to ₹631 crore from ₹588 crore in the year-ago quarter. However, the EBITDA margin slipped to 17.73% from 18.43% last year, indicating that costs grew at a faster pace than revenue during the period.
Despite the decline in operating margin, the company managed to deliver higher earnings through revenue growth and improved overall business performance. The results show Dabur’s ability to maintain growth in a competitive consumer goods market while managing inflationary pressures.
Adding to the positive news, Dabur India announced an interim dividend of ₹3.50 per equity share for its shareholders. The dividend declaration reflects the company’s confidence in its financial position and commitment to rewarding investors.
Overall, the quarter highlighted steady sales growth, higher profitability, and continued shareholder returns through dividend payouts.
