Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have quietly raised their stakes in small-cap stocks that show strong profitability and consistent growth. In 2025, 42 such companies maintained profit after tax (PAT) margins above 20% for four consecutive quarters.
During this period, FIIs increased their holdings in these companies, reflecting growing confidence from foreign investors.
Among these stocks, nine have stood out with returns ranging from 25% to 300% in just 10 months. This remarkable rally highlights the impact of strong financial health driving their market outperformance.
Cupid FII stake rose from 0.95% in June 2025 to 2.58% in September 2025. The stock surged 313%, climbing from Rs 76 to Rs 313. Profit margins stayed robust, ranging from 20% to 29%.
CarTrade Tech FII holdings increased from 67.30% to 68.51% between June and September 2025. The stock gained 107%, moving from Rs 1,488 to Rs 3,078, with profit margins above 25%.
Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) FII stakes grew from 2.25% to 3.32%. The stock jumped 76% in 2025, rising from Rs 322 to Rs 568. PAT margins ranged between 22% and 88%.
Authum Investment & Infrastructure FII holdings nearly doubled from 7.94% to 14.11%. The stock rose 63%, from Rs 1,704 to Rs 2,774. Margins remained strong, between 78% and 127%.
Anand Rathi Wealth FII stake increased from 4.90% to 5.56%. The stock gained 53%, moving from Rs 1,972 to Rs 3,023. Consistent profit margins of around 33%-34% were maintained.
Maharashtra Scooters FII holdings climbed from 5.12% to 6.21%. The stock jumped 49%, from Rs 9,617 to Rs 14,364, with margins fluctuating but averaging very high levels.
Gujarat Themis Biosyn FII stakes rose marginally from 2.51% to 2.95%. The stock gained 46%, climbing from Rs 305 to Rs 447. Margins stayed stable around 25%-34%.
Nesco FII holdings remained steady near 4.9%. The stock rose 31%, from Rs 963 to Rs 1,258, with profit margins consistently around 50%.
India Shelter Finance Corporation FII stake increased slightly from 7.96% to 8.02%. The stock grew 23%, from Rs 705 to Rs 870, maintaining steady margins around 33%.
This pattern of rising FII interest combined with strong profitability highlights the potential of these smallcaps as attractive investment opportunities.
