In 2024, four Tata stocks saw losses of at least 15%. Tata Technologies, Tata Elxsi, Tata Consumer Products, and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) were the worst performers. Tata Technologies, which debuted with a 180% gain in 2023, dropped 23% this year. Tata Elxsi fell by 22%, Tata Consumer Products by 15%, and Tata Teleservices by 15%.

The overall market weakness contributed to these declines. Tata Technologies faced weak earnings, reporting a 22.4% drop in revenue and a 72% plunge in net profit for the September quarter. Tata Teleservices reported a loss of Rs 330 crore in the July-September quarter.

Despite the losses, some analysts remain optimistic about a rebound in 2025. Tata Consumer Products is a top buy for multiple brokerages. Analysts recommend buying Tata Consumer above Rs 925. They believe the stock could drop to 830 levels if it breaches the immediate support level of 870.
