Jefferies has issued buy ratings on Polycab India, Welspun Corp and JSW Infrastructure, projecting gains of up to 34%. The brokerage highlights strong growth opportunities in cables, energy infrastructure, ports and logistics, supported by rising demand and capacity expansion.
Polycab India has been given a target price of ₹11,100, implying 34% upside. Jefferies believes Polycab’s leadership in industrial cables and strong entry barriers will protect margins even as UltraTech Cement enters the segment. Market share gains are expected to continue.
Welspun Corp has been assigned a target price of ₹3,250, offering 27% upside. It is the world’s largest welded line pipe maker. Growth is expected from United States energy infrastructure spending including LNG exports, data centres and Permian Basin gas, along with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 investments in oil, gas and water systems. Its strong local manufacturing footprint enhances opportunities.
JSW Infrastructure has been given a target price of ₹395, reflecting 19% upside. Expansion in ports and logistics is expected to drive volumes. The company aims to reach port capacity of 40 crore tonnes by FY30. Government port privatisation offers further scope. Logistics revenue is projected at ₹5,200 crore by FY30 with 21% margin.
Jefferies’ recommendations underline confidence in India’s infrastructure growth story.
