Ola Electric stock rises 80% in six months, should you buy now?

Ola Electric Mobility shares have gained nearly 80% over the past six months, reflecting strong investor confidence. On September 23, 2026, the stock jumped 12% intraday to ₹42.32. The rally has been supported by expansion of dealer-led stores across multiple states and rising adoption of electric two-wheelers in India.

The stock has moved from March lows of ₹22.25 to current levels. Analysts note congestion between ₹36 and ₹43, with a breakout above ₹43 potentially pushing the price toward ₹50. Ola Electric has raised ₹1,500 crore to support growth and expand its gigafactory capacity from 2.5 GWh to 6 GWh.

Financial performance remains mixed. Revenue fell 45% year-on-year to ₹455 crore but improved 72% quarter-on-quarter. Net loss narrowed to ₹336 crore, while gross margin stayed firm at 30.5%. Cash flow turned negative at ₹215 crore compared to positive ₹91 crore in the previous quarter.

Experts believe the rally is driven more by expansion and sector momentum than earnings recovery. Traders are advised to hold positions and consider fresh buying only above ₹43. Ola Electric’s future depends on sustained demand, improved profitability, and execution of its ambitious growth plans.
