Trump fresh comments about the Iran US deal

President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Iran must agree never to develop or possess nuclear weapons. He insisted the Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately for unrestricted shipping traffic without tolls, in both directions. Trump highlighted that U.S. underwater mine sweepers have already detonated numerous mines in the strait, and Iran is expected to remove or destroy any remaining ones. He declared that the U.S. naval blockade will now be lifted, allowing ships trapped in the strait to return home.

Trump also referred to enriched nuclear material, described as “nuclear dust,” buried deep underground beneath collapsed mountains following a U.S. B2 bomber strike 11 months ago. He stated that the United States, working jointly with Iran, China, and the International Atomic Energy Agency, will unearth and destroy this material. He emphasized that no financial transactions will take place until further notice, though other minor agreements have been reached.

In his message, Trump addressed sailors and families directly, urging them to prepare for reunions as ships begin departing. He concluded by noting he would meet in the Situation Room to make a final determination on the agreement. His statement reflects a mix of military pressure, diplomatic coordination, and personal messaging to both American forces and Iranian authorities.
