Hindalco Industries reported strong Q4 results, with standalone revenue rising 13.4% YoY to ₹25,116 crore. EBITDA surged 35.5% to ₹3,008 crore, expanding margins to 11.98% from 10.03% last year.

The aluminium upstream business saw a 78% YoY jump in EBITDA to ₹4,838 crore, while the downstream segment grew 52% to ₹219 crore. However, the copper business EBITDA declined 21% to ₹614 crore.

Net profit increased to ₹1,561 crore, up from ₹1,412 crore last year. Hindalco also reduced its net debt to ₹35,332 crore, down from ₹41,818 crore in the previous quarter, though slightly higher than last year’s ₹31,536 crore.

Shares of Hindalco traded 0.5% higher at ₹661 after the results announcement. The company’s performance was driven by strong aluminium sales and improved margins, despite challenges in the copper segment.

Overall, Hindalco’s Q4 results reflect robust growth, strong operational efficiency, and effective debt management, reinforcing its position in the metals industry. Investors reacted positively, with the stock showing steady movement post-results.
