Foreign institutional investors are quietly increasing their exposure to three Indian industrial companies. Their growing interest reflects confidence in India’s strong industrial growth and the earnings potential of these firms. The industrial production index rose 5.8% year on year in the first quarter of FY27, with June showing 7.3% growth. Capital goods expanded 14.2%, electricity and gas 10.6% and manufacturing 7.8%. This momentum has attracted foreign investors.

Welspun Corp saw FIIs raise their stake by 3.38% to 14.6%. The company has an order book worth ₹25,750 crore, including large oil and gas pipeline contracts. Its first quarter profit rose 42% to ₹499 crore. Return on capital employed stood at 22.9% and valuation metrics suggest it is undervalued.

KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration witnessed a 2.2% rise in FII stake to 8.86%. The company is expanding its HVAC facility with ₹350 crore capex, aiming for revenue potential of ₹2,850 crore by FY28. It entered the bus air conditioning segment targeting 15% market share. Profit rose 44.6% to ₹76.5 crore though valuations appear stretched.

Aeroflex Industries saw FIIs raise stake by 2.12% to 3.61%. Strong demand from data centre cooling systems boosted profits 162% to ₹18.8 crore. Expansion plans support revenue potential of ₹650–675 crore though valuations remain premium.
