Ather Energy shares have continued their sharp rise, hitting fresh highs in early August 2026. The stock jumped 17.45% in the week ending August 7, closing at ₹1,480.80. This rally has outpaced the Sensex, which gained only 1.13% during the same period. The company’s shares also touched a new 52‑week high of ₹1,507.30, showing strong investor confidence.

The surge followed improved financial results for the first quarter of FY27. Net loss narrowed to ₹51 crore compared with ₹178 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue grew 89% year on year to ₹1,217 crore. Importantly, Ather reported a positive EBITDA of ₹9 crore, marking its first step toward profitability.

Brokerages have responded with optimism. Nomura has identified Ather Energy as its top pick in the electric vehicle sector and sees potential for up to 35% further upside. Institutional investors are also increasing their exposure. Mutual fund holdings rose to 21.05%, while foreign institutional investors lifted their stake to 16.77%.

The rally is supported by strong demand for electric vehicles, government incentives, and better operational performance. Risks remain, including continued losses and margin pressures, but overall sentiment is upbeat. Ather Energy is now seen as a promising player in India’s fast‑growing electric mobility market.
