Infosys announced its Q2 FY27 results with modest growth and revised guidance. The company reported consolidated net profit of ₹7,823 crore, a slight 0.7% rise from ₹7,769 crore in the previous quarter. Revenue climbed 2.1% to ₹49,244 crore compared to ₹48,211 crore, while dollar revenue increased 1.2% to $5,145 million. EBIT rose 1.6% to ₹10,330 crore, though EBIT margin slipped marginally to 21% from 21.1%.
Infosys cut its FY27 constant currency revenue growth guidance to 1–2%, down from the earlier 1.5–3%, while maintaining operating margin expectations at 20–22%. AI-driven services contributed 10.5% of total revenue, up from 8.2% in Q1, highlighting growing traction in digital transformation. Large deal total contract value stood at $5.2 billion, with 62% being net new business, reflecting strong deal momentum.
Employee headcount rose by 4,480 sequentially, indicating hiring stability. Constant currency revenue growth was 1.2%, slightly higher than 1% in the prior quarter.
Overall, Infosys delivered steady performance with incremental profit and revenue growth, but cautious guidance reflects macroeconomic uncertainties. The rising share of AI revenues and robust deal wins signal long-term opportunities, even as near-term growth remains muted. The company continues to balance efficiency with investments in emerging technologies.
