LIC leads NSE IPO anchor book with ₹400 cr allocation

National Stock Exchange of India has finalised the allocation of 3,77,93,739 equity shares to anchor investors at Rs1,785 per share, ahead of its proposed initial public offering. The allocation was completed on September 16, 2026, following discussions between the company and the book running lead managers.

Life Insurance Corporation of India received the largest allocation among the investors listed in the filing. LIC was allotted 22,42,584 NSE shares, representing 5.93% of the total anchor investor portion. At the anchor price of Rs1,785 per share, the value of LIC’s allocation stood at around Rs400.30 crore.

Government Pension Fund Global was allotted 14,00,560 shares, worth nearly Rs250 crore. Monetary Authority of Singapore and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s Monsoon Fund each received 11,20,448 shares, valued at around Rs200 crore each.

Fidelity Funds India Focus Fund received 9,98,520 shares, with an allocation value of nearly Rs178.24 crore. LSQ1 SPV 1 Ltd and LSQ1 SPV 3 Ltd were each allotted 5,60,224 shares, worth around Rs100 crore.

LICI ULI Growth Fund received 2,24,096 shares, while LICI New Pension Plus Growth Fund received 56,024 shares. The filing also listed Dendana Investments, which received 35,480 shares worth around Rs6.33 crore in total.

The anchor allocation gives investors an early look at institutional participation in NSE’s IPO.
