Veteran investor Vijay Kedia has continued to hold his positions in Siyaram Silk Mills and Precision Camshafts despite heavy declines in their share prices. Both stocks have dropped sharply from their December 2024 peaks, yet his June 2026 filings confirm that he remains invested, showing confidence in their long‑term potential.

Siyaram Silk Mills touched ₹1,175 in December 2024 but has slipped to ₹617 by July 2026, a fall of 48%. Kedia owns about 1% of the company, valued at ₹28 crore. The textile maker reported record sales of ₹2,572 crore and net profit of ₹231 crore in FY26. However, margins remain below earlier levels and borrowings have risen to ₹352 crore. The company is expanding its retail presence, which has stretched capital, and its valuation has compressed to a price‑earnings ratio of 14 compared with the industry median of 24.

Precision Camshafts has faced an even steeper decline, dropping 64% from ₹383 in December 2024 to ₹139 in July 2026. Kedia holds 1.05% worth ₹14 crore. Sales have fallen for three years and margins have narrowed. FY26 profit of ₹51 crore was largely supported by treasury income. The company trades at a high valuation of 54 times earnings against the industry median of 31. Its core camshaft business faces risks from the shift to electric vehicles, though it remains debt‑free with strong cash reserves.

Kedia’s continued presence signals belief in long‑term fundamentals. Investors must weigh cyclical de‑rating against structural challenges before considering these stocks.
