Narendra Modi’s declared investment portfolio reflects a very traditional and simple approach, avoiding modern financial instruments like stocks, mutual funds, or real estate. His largest holding is in fixed deposits worth ₹3.26 crore, showing preference for secure and low‑risk savings.

Alongside this, he maintains a savings account balance of ₹80,304, a modest figure compared to his deposits. He also owns National Savings Certificates valued at ₹9.74 lakh, highlighting his reliance on government‑backed schemes.

Interestingly, his physical assets include gold rings worth ₹3.10 lakh, a common traditional investment in India. In terms of liquidity, he holds cash in hand amounting to ₹52,920.

Notably, Modi has no car, no real estate, and no exposure to equity markets or mutual funds, which sets his portfolio apart from many modern investors. This combination of deposits, certificates, gold, and cash reflects a conservative financial style focused on safety and simplicity rather than growth or diversification.

It underlines a preference for stability and traditional instruments over riskier avenues. Overall, his portfolio demonstrates a cautious and disciplined approach, prioritizing security and predictability over aggressive wealth creation strategies. This makes it a striking example of traditional Indian savings culture in practice.
