Adani Ports witnessed a large block deal worth ₹1,234 crore as 70.5 lakh shares changed hands at ₹1,754 each. The transaction represented nearly 0.3% of the company’s equity. Following the deal, the stock closed 3.36% higher at ₹1,760, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s growth outlook.

Brokerage Motilal Oswal Financial Services has maintained a buy call on Adani Ports with a target price of ₹2,130, highlighting robust cargo recovery and earnings visibility. Analysts believe rising container and dry cargo volumes will support long‑term growth.

The company’s market capitalisation now stands at ₹4.05 lakh crore, underlining its strong position among Indian infrastructure firms. The block deal signals institutional interest and reinforces stability in the stock despite global uncertainties.

In a related development, GMR Airports also saw a block deal worth ₹818 crore, involving 9.1 crore shares. Its stock gained 5% to close at ₹92.17. Analysts expect softer traffic in the first half of FY27 but anticipate recovery in the second half, supported by refinancing initiatives.

For investors, Adani Ports remains a promising growth candidate. Brokerage targets suggest nearly 21% upside potential from current levels, making the stock attractive for long‑term portfolios.
